Dr Ajzensztejn undertook her endocrinology and diabetes training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College London Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
She spent a year overseas as a clinical fellow at the Schneider Children’s Medical Centre, Israel, working on the artificial pancreas project which aimed to close the loop between insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
