We are a team of children’s nurses who support Tuke and Cherry Gardens Schools in Southwark and Heron Academy and The Livity Schools in Lambeth.
We support the schools to ensure that students with long-term health conditions can attend education and partake in school activities. We also train school staff to be able to provide healthcare to children in the classroom.
We work in partnership with other healthcare professionals, GPs, social workers and voluntary agencies to support the children and young people within the education setting.
Who can access the service
Any child or young person who has a long term health condition that requires support for them to attend education at the following schools.
