Mountain Ward nurses do The Strictly
A group of 20 twinkle-toed nurses from Evelina London Children’s Hospital took to the dance floor to perform The Strictly and celebrate the hospital’s 10th birthday.
The
video of the dance was watched by nearly 5,000 people on YouTube and Facebook in the first 24 hours. It was re-tweeted by It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball, Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara and CBeebies favourite Dr Ranj, who all gave the dancing nurses a perfect 10.
The video was recorded on Ocean floor in the hospital’s outpatients department.
Victoria Felton, Matron on Evelina London’s Mountain Ward, brought members of her team together to perform the routine.
She says: “We had so much fun learning the dance together as a team and we haven’t stopped smiling since. I learned a lot about the hidden talents of the people I work with!”
