Six-year-old Molly Rapley is taking part in an international dance competition this weekend (Saturday 19 April) despite having serious problems with her kidneys.

Molly’s condition means her kidneys only have 10% of their normal function. She has dialysis at Evelina London Children's Hospital three times a week for four hours at a time.

Despite only taking up dancing a year ago she is travelling to Germany for the European and World Championships for Irish Dancing.

Molly’s nurses are amazed she has the energy to dance as dialysis can make patients very tired.

Her mum Suzanne says: “I’m so incredibly proud of her already for how brave she is with everything she’s going through, but this is just the icing on the cake.”
