Wolf is a safe, warm and welcoming facility for children and young people participating in early phase clinical trials and research studies.
Our team
Under the leadership of Dr Ming Lim and Modern Matron Shelley Mieres, the facility allows children and young people to take part in our studies alongside ongoing care. Our highly trained research team of doctors, nurses and other health professionals are specialists in children’s care, both in research and clinical practice.

We provide care on complex research studies for a range of conditions, including:
- infectious disease
- genetic and rare diseases
- epilepsy
- neuromuscular
- neurology
- haemophilia
- sickle cell disease
Our facilities
Wolf has 4 individual rooms with ensuite and hoisting facilities for children and young people with mobility needs.
Wolf also has a dedicated play area with an interactive play screen and baby changing facilities.
Alongside Wolf, our onsite laboratory provides a pivotal space for samples to be processed and analysed.
