We accept referrals from GPs and other health professionals.
How to refer
GP referrals
All NHS GP referrals must be submitted using the Clinisys ICE system. If you do not have access to ICE, please email gst-tr.radiologyreferrals@nhs.net for more information about how to refer.
Referrals from other health professionals
We accept written referrals addressed to the imaging reception and sent by email or post using the details in the box on this page.
To avoid unnecessary delays, please make sure that the patient’s name, address, contact number and date of birth are written clearly on the referral letter.
It is also important to write or type the clinical details and type of test legibly as this information is scanned by computer.
Walk-in C-ray service
We accept GP referrals to our walk-in X-ray service, available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.
All other tests are by appointment only.
Urgent referrals
For urgent referrals, please refer using the normal process and form and mark the referral as urgent.
Emergency referrals may be made following assessment by the accident and emergency team.
