Who can refer
We accept referrals for children with gastrointestinal conditions for diagnosis and management.
We accept referrals from:
- hospital doctors at Evelina London and other hospitals
- GPs if a child is suspected of having chronic diarrhoea or blood in poo
- accident and emergency (A&E) department
How to refer
GP referrals
All NHS GP referrals must be submitted using the NHS e-Referral service.
Referrals sent to the nhs.net mailbox or by post from GPs will not be processed.
Other referrals
All other referrers should address referrals to the department using the details in the referral contacts box on this page.
Referrals will be reviewed and directed to the appropriate consultant for management.
