Who can refer
We accept referrals from:
- GPs
- community services
- other hospital health professionals
We only accept GP referrals for people living in Lambeth, Southwark or Lewisham.
How to refer
GP referrals
All NHS GP referrals must be submitted using the NHS e-Referral service using these details:
- Speciality: Children's and adolescent services
- Clinic type: ENT
- Service names:
- Children's specialist ENT general, St Thomas' site, Guy's and St Thomas', RJ1
- Children's specialist airway clinic, ENT, St Thomas' site, Guy's and St Thomas', RJ1
- Children's specialist ear (otology) clinic, ENT, St Thomas' site, Guy's and St Thomas', RJ1
- Children's ear wax removal clinic, ENT, ST Thomas' site, Guy's and St Thomas', RJ1
Referrals sent to the nhs.net mailbox or by post from GPs will not be processed.
Referrals from other health professional
Hospital doctors and other health professionals should email or post a referral letter using the details in the referral contacts box on this page.
Please include a detailed description of the problem.
Emergency referrals
Emergency referrals are received from the accident and emergency department at St Thomas’ Hospital and from other hospitals in south London and south east England.
For emergency referrals, please call the main hospital switchboard on 020 7188 7188 and ask for the ENT registrar on call.
