Biography
Iain Yardley is a consultant surgeon specialised in surgery for children and babies, including premature babies. He trained in children's surgery in Nottingham, Liverpool and Manchester, entering the specialist register in 2013. He joining Evelina London in 2015 after working as a locum consultant in two other major children's surgical centres.
Alongside clinical training he has extensive experience of health care leadership through working with the Chief Medical Officer and World Health Organisation. He is currently head of the Evelina London Department of Paediatric Surgery.
He has active research interests, including being Chief Investigator for a major NIHR funded trial.
