Biography
Alessandra Mazzola has been a paediatric cardiology consultant at Evelina London Children's Hospital since 2021. She has great expertise in children affected with complex and congenital heart disease who also have other significant medical and developmental disorders.
Alessandra works closely with specialists in other services as part of a large multidisciplinary team to offer the best care for every child, including:
- intensive care
- respiratory
- cardiothoracic and paediatric surgery
- infectious disease
- speech and language therapy
She also work in the network providing a joint paediatric cardiology clinic collaborating with the local paediatrician with expertise in paediatric cardiology. She accepts referrals from the network for suspected congenital heart disease and cardiopulmonary exercise tests.
