Biography
Jonathan joined Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 1999 and is the senior consultant in the stone unit. He operates on both adults and children.
He operates on kidney stones in children, working with the children's urology team. A joint children's stone clinic is held once a month, and a children's stone list twice a month.
He has taught kidney stone surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England Basic and Advanced surgery courses, and at the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) annual meetings. He is secretary of the section of endo-urology of BAUS.
As well as being the urological editor for the 39th edition of Gray's Anatomy, Jonathan has responsibilities in the training programme of urological trainees.
