Biography
Kirsty Brennan is a consultant general and neonatal paediatric surgeon with a special interest in thoracic and complex upper GI surgery. She studied in the University of Liverpool, before undertaking her early training in Scotland. Subsequent higher surgical training was completed in King’s College Hospital, St George’s Hospital and the Royal London.
Kirsty was appointed as a consultant in the Evelina Children’s Hospital in 2020 after obtaining the gold medal in the FRCS (paeds). She has focussed on developing subspecialist skills, multidisciplinary follow-up and standardisation of care since her appointment.
