Biography
Sean Blaney is a otorhinolaryngologist at Evelina London. Otolarynology is the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat (ENT).
Qualifying from the University of London in 1990, his postgraduate training in ENT surgery took place in Cambridge, Brighton and London. He undertook a Fellowship in otology and children's ENT in Australia before being appointed a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Evelina London in 2001.
Sean has a PhD in comparative anatomy and has served both on the Council of the Section of Otology of the Royal Society of Medicine and on the Council of the British Association for Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology.
