Your child's appointment with the special needs dietitians in Lambeth and Southwark

How do I get an appointment?

You can ask for a referral from any healthcare professional, including:

  • GPs
  • health visitors
  • school nurses
  • speech and language therapists
  • occupational therapists
  • paediatricians

Cancelling or changing your appointment

Please call 020 3989 0499.

Before your appointment

If your child is less than 5 years old, please bring their red book (personal child health record).

We'll let you know if there is anything else to bring to the appointment.

What to expect at your appointment

You or your child will see our dietitian. Appointment times vary, but first appointments generally last 45 to 60 minutes.

As we're a teaching hospital, students and visitors may be observing the appointment. We'll always ask your permission for them to observe your appointment.

After your appointment

The dietitian will let you know when you'll be contacted about your child's follow up appointment.
