Our neurophysiology service sees children with epilepsy and neuromuscular conditions affecting movement and muscle control.
As a local and specialist centre, we see patients from London and further afield.
We carry out tests to examine the electrical activity in the brain, known as electroencephalography (EEG).
As well as standard EEG tests, we also carry out:
- video EEG tests
- ambulatory EEG tests
- video telemetry EEG tests
- home video EEG telemetry
- nerve conduction studies
- electromyography studies.
You and your child will be given information about any test we offer you.
Our specialist services
We are a specialist centre and one of the few centres nationally to offer combined sleep and telemetry studies.
As part of King's Health Partners, we have pioneered the UK’s first home video telemetry service to monitor children in their own homes for up to three days.
