Evelina London Children's Charity showcases incredible moments at Evelina London

Evelina London Children's Charity have launched a new film highlighting how they help create incredible moments for children and families in Evelina London's care.

It features families and staff members, and shows some of the incredible moments that happen every day across Evelina London's hospital and community services, supported by the charity. These moments help young patients feel safer, happier and recover faster.

The video was filmed in partnership with 8 different teams that all benefit from the charity's support, including:

• research
• the neonatal unit
• maternity
• cardiology

Evelina London's therapeutic play service also receives support from Evelina London Children's Charity. Every day, this service creates special moments for children in hospital, helping them prepare for treatments and procedures, process their emotions and take their minds off being in hospital. Recognising the importance of play, the charity worked with the team to develop a play guide that contains expert tips and fun ideas for parents and carers to try at home. The charity has also published a series of amazing stories on their website to demonstrate the impact their funding has on young patients.
